RISE & FALL by Rick Gomes
A young musician (Travis Stone) is on the brink of stardom when his life is suddenly struck by tragedy – his wife and young daughter are killed in a car accident.
Five years later:
Unable to cope with his loss, Travis begins to live on the streets and develops an acoholic addiction to numb his pain. His friends, family, and life that he once knew are mere distant memories. Until Jimmy (Greg Rombis).
Jimmy is a determined Record Executive after losing his job at the largest record company in the city. Married and with a young family, he is on the path to prove his ability on his own.
A chance encounter brings the hard-of-luck men together. Jimmy is steadfast on resurrecting his career and for Travis... anything is better than dismal. Through the course of their friendship, Jimmy's strength to return a broken man to the stage and back in the recording studio is put to the test again and again.
RISE & FALL is a story about love, addiction, friendship... and realizing when life hits rock bottom. An emotional roller coaster from beginning to end, this story is not one that anyone will want to miss.
Shiraz Tayyeb, Adam Langley, and John Jamieson record original track "Without A Cry" for the RISE & FALL soundtrack.

The CAST
From Director Rick Gomes, "Have a good look at this cast. It's becoming a who's who of Toronto's Indie Scene! Every actor in RISE & FALLl is truly a 'lead' actor. The fact that some are coming in a supporting role blows my mind!"
